Hey, my name is Richard Battle. I grew up in North Austin near the Braker/Rundberg area. It's nice in most parts of the neighborhood, even if some parts are a little rugged by Austin standards. By this I mean crime, homelessness and drug users. I'm still proud to have grown up here though.

I became a locksmith in 2007 after seeing an ad in the newspaper offering free locksmith training. It was a science I was immediately interested in, and extremely challenging. I'm proud of myself for still being part of this proud profession.

After spending years working for other companies, I decided to control my own destiny and start ASAP Locksmith in 2013. I now realize just how tough it is to run a business, doing all the marketing, accounting, and of course driving out to the customers to do the locksmith work. -Richard Battle
